I got this on a whim to see if it would be easier to use on removing decorative machine-stitched borders than a western seam ripper. It definitely is! I have some slight dexterity problems and this is honestly the only seam ripper I will use from here on out - at least, until it wears out and I have to get another of the same type.

Good tool for the right context

I really enjoyed using this when I first got it. I was so excited that I used it for pretty much all seam ripping jobs. But then I accidentally cut through some fabric and realized the hard way that it truly is sharp and I need to be more judicious in what jobs I ask it to do.

Love this seam ripper-it’s very simple to use and does not snag or damage the fabric
