Ash and Ember Eye Soot

Worth it

I decided to splurge on this product because I've seen such good reviews (especially about the shade half light) and it's absolutely gorgeous. This is definitely a new staple for me because of how well the shade works for me as a one and done. It's fairly emollient, so it works well on my dry skin -- but even I noticed that it gathered a little in my lids during a very warm cocktail hour I attended recently, but all I had to do was pat it out and it went back to looking perfect. It feels very low maintenance for as pretty as the impact is.

Love the texture

It's not really cream-to-powder, but it's somehow a moist powder. Not sure how to describe it exactly, but it's fantastic. Applies smoothly, and can be sheered out or built up, does not crease (I do use eyelid primer). The sheen is dimensional, not glittery. I have five different shades; it's one of my favorite eyeshadows.
