So far so good! I’ve never grown corn before but we’ve bought PROVIDENCE sweet corn from a local veggie stand for years and he fell ill and can’t do it anymore so I bought some to try.
I started them in seed trays and they took off, then into pots, and I was getting worried, since it didn’t stop raining around here until this last week, but we finally, just got them in the garden the week before the Fourth. Time will tell, if they don’t turn out, I’m sure it isn’t the seed, they had a rough start this year. I just hope the rest of the seed is still good for next year! P.S. if anyone has any suggestions, as to the best way to store them for next year, I’d be very grateful.

Best Sweet Corn
Just wanted to let you know the results of the Providence sweet corn I ordered this past spring. I have been gardening for 50+ years and the Providence is the best sweet corn I have ever grown in spite of the terrible spring and early summer drought we experienced. The ears were large and full. Several of our friends also commented that it is the best corn they have ever eaten. I will definitely be ordering more next spring. Thank you.
