Well I've never bought a pair of binoculars before and with shops closed, I couldn't go in store to try the GPO at £360 in comparison with the Kite Lynx at double that price. I took James' advice which tended to follow what others had said on line and pay as much as you can afford. Well these are really good, I can see clearly for miles and are super for bird watching which I'm only just taking up again since childhood. They are light and compact. I would love to have been able to compare to see if these were really worth the double price tag.

Getting back into serious birding so i thought i would treat myself to an upgrade from my good 30 year old Swift osprey bins to well, i was'nt sure , so many out their that have similar spec to what i was looking for. I narrowed the field down and after an email and a very helpful phone call to James i went for the Kite lynx HD+. I know (because of covid restrictions) i was'nt able to look through any others before i bought these but i think they are truly amazing binoculars such a bright sharp image with a field of view to die for, what more could a birder want except if like me you are also into butterflies & dragonflies you need close focus, the lynx 8x42 has a close focus of 2 meters so ideal, and with all that they are pretty light weight. Would highly recommend the Kite lynx HD+ and Stealth Birders. Norman Harris (somerset)
