Logan Dog Gate - Modern Hardwood & Steel 30" Tall w/ Self Close Door, Extendable, Pressure Mounted (29.5" - 51.5" Wide)

At full extension the gate isn’t sturdy at all. First, the instructions are simply wrong. I received two papers: one says install all extensions on one side; the other shows a portrait with a different setup. Both are wrong. The parts needed to assemble it those ways aren’t included. I set it up as shown in one of the pictures on this listing, which matches the parts provided. The pieces used to attach the extensions at the bottom are loose and leave room for wobble. I made sure all four wall contact points were measured, plumb, and level. As soon as I tightened, the frame bent at those points. Less compression prevented bending but left too little pressure for the latch to hold. Any lateral force flexes the frame and easily pops the latch. For this price it should be solid. It’s advertised to cover 51.5”, but it cannot cover 48.75”.

I have purchased 5 of these gates and the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the increased price for the same gate.
