Hilleberg Nallo Backpacking Tent

The right tent for my needs

I already own a Hilleberg Akto which I found to be an excellent tent but being a little bit small if you need to spend more time in the tent. I was considering either a Niak or a Rogen tent but hiking in the Swedish mountains I wanted a tent where I could close the inner tent to conserve heat in case of windy conditions. For me, the Nallo is a perfect combination of volume, protection against the elements and weight. The Nallo also offers ample space for gear and proper head room which I do value a lot. Hilleberg put up some tips on how to further improve the airflow between the inner and outer tent which I'm yet to try. The idea is to disconnect the inner and outer tent at the foot end of the tent using the additional two tent pegs provided. By adding some guy line between the outer tent and the pegs you increase the distance between the inner and outer tent. Should reduce/eliminate any possible condensation on the inner tent. Service from S&S Archery was very quick and speedy and I got timely information of the progress of my order. Shipping was super fast. 2 days from US to Dubai. Hard to beat.
