I very much enjoy these mixed variety of Savarez Strings. The Cantiga "Premium" basses really provide a boost on sound and longevity. The carbon "Alliance" G string with the nylon "Cristal" blend together perfectly. This is my go-to set for all of my guitars. While I prefer other strings for different guitars, I keep a few packs of these on hand when I'm running low on other stock or feel like having a consistent sound.

Great set

I love these strings and this vendor! Same as previous reviewer I used normal tension d string. I play a lot of DADGBE songs which is why the high tension is needed to keep the flop out of the 5th and 6th strings . This puts the 4th string too tight for me. I’ve always wondered why 4th string wears out first. I don’t think it’s the tension. But the fact that I never change the tuning in that string the other 3 wound strings get regular movement between ED and AG . That probably keeps them from wearing a groove at the nut and every fret I play often.

Great strings

These are some of the best sounding strings available. The basses are rich and powerful. New Cristal nylon 1st and 2nd strings have excellent volume and sustain and Alliance carbon 3rd provides excellent transition from basses to trebles and vice versa. My only complaint is its high tension of the 4th string (about 1# higher than 5th and 6th strings). I typically replace the high-tension 4th with medium-tension 4th and it works great for me.
