Southern Gents Hamilton Double Monkstrap – Dark Brown

Very pleased. Would recommend.

My first time ordering from Southern Gents and I was very satisfied. The shipping was very fast, I ordered the Double Monkstrap Dark Brown on late 8/13 and received my order 6 PM EST 8/17. From my understanding they ship from New Jersey, and I am located in South Florida. The packaging blew me away. It was carefully packaged, multiple bags, and overall you can tell they take pride in their packaging/presentation. I was worried about the fit, I typically wear 8.5 in Converse, have gone up to 9 sometimes for a looser fit in dress shoes but an 8 fits perfectly. I was confused on what the color would be like, as the pictures display 2 slightly different colors, but the chat service assured me it was the lighting. One picture made it look to be light brown (Natural outside light) but the studio light made it look to be true dark brown (Product is closer to dark brown studio light). The only slight inconvenience I would say, is the clasp on the monk strap looks very worn out. I am going to try to wipe it down with a chemical cleaner to get it back shiny but looks like it was reused or rusted? Not a very big deal, just something I noticed. Overall, 5/5 experience, will most likely be coming back to purchase again in the near future. Well done.
