Pink Fine DeMatador

The DeMatador is the first (and only) dematting tool our female Cocker Spaniel will tolerate. Everything else I've tried, she fights and bites at me, but with the DeMatador she will just stand there and let me take care of her show length coat - no biting, fighting, squirming or kicking at me! It makes the process of grooming her (which, with her long, heavy coat needs to be done every day!) so much easier and pleasant for both of us! I love it and so does Bella. I will soon be ordering the mini to make grooming her underside even more enjoyable for both of us.

I had such high hopes! I took the plunge and spent $151 (I'm in Australia so postage was $87) I'm not sure if mine isn't sharp enough? but even after a thorough brushing and then using the dematador afterward, it was still very much a struggle to get through any matts in my dog's fur. She's a Havanese and I brush her a couple of times a week but she would still get the odd matt due to her harness etc. Oh well...I'll persevere and resort to the scissors when all else fails.
