Cuts very smoothly, but...

Just used the new knife and it cuts very smoothly. However, Wusthof serrated knives do not cut straight for some reason. They move at an angle as you slice instead of straight down. Not sure why Wusthof designed them like that. I end up resorting to a 40-yr old inexpensive bread knife when i need to make straight cuts. Otherwise, the knife slices thru everything quite easily.
