Battery Box Mod with +/- Battery Cables STC SA4008NM

EXCELLENT UPGRADE

I purchased this kit for my ‘73 Cherokee 180 to replace the original + and - battery cables at my batter box. The negative ground strap was the original aluminum, braided from the factory. The service from Bogert was outstanding as they answered my questions I had regarding installation and the kit in general. Install was straight forward and the cables and insulators fit as expected. This was definitely a worthwhile upgrade to enhance starting and results were immediate and visible during the first start after install. My IA commented how professional the kit was and the install instructions were clear and straight forward. Install time was about 3 hours taking our time to remove the box. Modify. And re-install. This is a very clean and nice looking kit/upgrade after installation.

As with most Bogert products this battery box mod is well engineered. With a very small amount of adjustment I was able to install this mod very successfully. If you have a box in good condition, this is a very good way to update it at a reasonable cost.
