Merino Wool Rectangle Placemat

Sliding placemats

I have purchased other products from Graf Lanz and have been very satisfied. Unfortunately this wonderful wool fabric does not work as a placement. It slides all over the table. I bought them to replace a corked backed placemat which stays in place but these just slide all over. Also, the dark color, while it looks good in my dining area, shows every little speck. They are not easy to clean. In the instructions it says to use a vacuum! Who wants to pull out a vacuum to use on a placemat. I should have thought about all these downsides before I ordered them.

Perfect shade of gray, Nice quality. Love them! They look great. I only bought two to start. I will definitely purchase more. The size was just right. You can't go wrong with this purchase. Coasters are awesome, too!

These placemats are a better solution to usual options. They are flat and smooth so they create a nice 'canvas' for plates and flatware. I also appreciate the subtle, minimal color. Great purchase!
