I made this dress for my daughter's birthday. The pattern was very detailed, and the dress is beautiful.

Smart summer dress

Love this dress pattern. It was a favourite in the 70's so have made at least four summer day dresses with this pattern and one in yellow satin with a wastcoat in a darkpatterned lamé material looks good.waist coat came from the retro jumpsuit pattern. Have not used it as a wedding gown nor bridesmaids dress.
