Great tools to use.

I like the weight of them, they feel really solid in your hands. They came ready to use right out of the box and I was able to hollow out my first bowl with them very effortlessly. I also like the idea of interchangeable handle system I got the 20 and 16 inch handles and intend to get the other two sizes to complete the set. They sharpen nicely, although I am having difficulty getting the 25 degree angle just right on the negative rake scraper, but that is me, not the tool, I use those "Red" setup guides to set the angle, but they don't make a 25 degree one so I have to try to line it up by eye which at my age is not as easy as it might sound even with my readers. I have used carbide tools for years, but I always seem to have to sand a lot, but since moving to more traditional tools the cuts are so much better and with the M42 steel they stay sharp a little longer than standard HSS. I enjoy using them and would encourage others to try them out.
