Fendrihan Mk Full Stainless Steel Open Closed Comb Double Edge Safety Razor

Quality, surprisingly heavy razor handle.

I moved to the Fendrihan from a merkur. I had not realized originally that stainless steel was the way you needed to go for these. The build quality is good - the handle is very nice and has more heft than i expected. The head is more shiny - and the material - I assume is stainless steel - but has a different sheen. Perhaps it is cast versus machined. My only issue is with the length of the threads on the head of the razor. These are almost twice as long as my merkur. Perhaps this is less of a concern with a full stainless unit - as i was used to having to keep my merkur disassembled to prevent rust and corrosion issues. In hindsight i would likely have not ordered and Closed/comb head and just a head without the comb.
