Super fast response they were able to drop ship this package out in three days. This was the last minute order and change we were able to upgrade to the 64 although Mattos Sasquatch designs are immaculate and great for anybody.

I love all of the sasquatch mega tree parts. It makes setting up mega trees so much easier.

I purchased the 96 topper. Pros is that it is thick heavy duty steel that will definitely last. Cons: I was disappointed to see that there are no bearings on the topper allowing it to slide easily without damaging the modular poles. This is especially important for a 96 topper that will be holding a lot of weight as it does jam easily when trying to lower the topper using a winch. You have to add counter tension if doing a 180 degree tree when lowering the topper. The biggest flaw however is the design being 18 inches in diameter. This makes it virtually impossible to use standard MegaTree strips as they will all bunch at the top due to the extremely close proximity of the drilled hole spacing. To make this topper usable, I am having to cut MegaTree strip lengthwise shaving off about 1/4 inch from each side of the strip for the first few feet that connect to the topper. I am using a 10 foot hoop ring so it’s not like it’s a super narrow tree. In reality, this topper should probably be at least 24 or more inches in diameter to be compatible with MegaTree strip. If you are using seed pixels it should be fine, but most people use MegaTree strip so take this into consideration. If you don’t want to make your MegaTree strips narrower, you will need to skip using pixels until at least 2.5 feet down from the topper which would look weird in my opinion. Overall disappointed and a little sad I waited 9 months from the date I placed my preorder for this to arrive.
