Zip Crew Sweatshirt

I really enjoyed making the zip crew sweatshirt for my 10 month old grandson. I skipped the front pockets for the first try, but will add them for future makes. I really love that your patterns have such a broad size range. Thank you!

Quick, easy and great instructions!

Very happy with the zip crew sweatshirt - it was very quick and easy to make, but with a lovely finish. The instructions were very clear and well illustrated, and it came together in an hour or so. My only suggestion would be to stabilise the neckline with some fusible stay tape for knits, as I think with a stretchy knit or with a knit without good recovery, this area could stretch out badly during sewing - mine did a bit as I didn’t use my initiative to stabilise it.

Result looks professional!

I have used a few b&t patterns before, but this was my first go at a zip. It took me a couple of goes to line the sides up properly, but the result is fantastic and my friends didn't believe I had made it and not bought it! 😄
