School Daze Jumper and Blouse 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

Wonderful! This is the second Crabapples pattern I have used and I LOVE IT! The instructions are very detailed and so easy to follow. I have been sewing for 45 years and this is the first time my pleats have turned out so well - the instructions were so clear for the pleats - it is the first time I understood the folding/bringing the pleats to the line instructions. I highly recommend it.

This is such a great pattern and instructions were very easy to understand. Made a doll jumper out of a school uniform and looked exactly like the child's jumper.

Wonderful School Uniform Pattern

I was asked by St. Pious in Erlanger Ky. to make two school uniforms for 18" dolls that they are auctioning off at their festival. I looked everywhere for a pattern that was similar to the uniform my granddaughter wore. I found this pattern. I loved the blouse and the skirt part of the uniform. I did have to refigure the bodice because my granddaughters uniform was open on the sides to the belt area. Thankfully I was able to figure it out using the bodice pattern by redrawing it to eliminate the sides. After adding to the bodice to the skirt, I had the opening on one of the sides of the skirt on the left just like the real uniforms. One of my favorite parts of this pattern is the school bag. It was the perfect addition to the outfits I made along with a scrunchie with bow. I ended up making three uniform sets so the my granddaughter could have one too. I wish I could post a picture of the finished outfit.
