Amish Hand Sewn Basket Liner for Single Round Pie Carrier

I was thrilled to receive this basket for Christmas from my son. I had asked for a pie carrier and thought I would get a generic plastic one. Imagine how surprised I was to open this! I had no idea that these handcrafted baskets were available. The quality and craftsmanship are outstanding. This is something I will use and treasure for years and eventually pass down to my son!

For Our Exchange Student

(Actually 10 stars!) My daughter hosted an exchange student from Brazil. Apparently pie is not common there. She really liked the pies she tried and said she liked my basket several times. I wanted to send her home with a really special gift and included my grandmother's recipe for pie crust. I hope to have sparked a love for cooking that will stay with her a lifetime. . When she opened the box she must have said, "It's so beautiful!" a dozen times and went to pack it in her suitcase. It's not only beautiful, but the quality of craftsmanship is excellent.
