Exactly what I needed!

I ordered a half size bigger as suggested and they are the perfect fit! The buckle is a tad stiff making quick changes difficult but nothing that can’t be worked around. They are also comfortable for dancing on a concrete surface.

I've bought this shoe, in various colors, on a number of occasions. My favorite is the Caramel color because it looks nice with various outfits. I purchase one full size larger (9.5, medium width) than my street shoe size (8.5) in order to fit my custom orthotics and gel pads in the ball of the foot area. These shoes offer stability and flexiblity - bends in the toe box area; yet, also has stability so my foot feels supported. I like the suede bottoms so I slide on the floor in a soft and controlled fashion. The heel is a great height to look feminine; yet, not so high to put so much pressure on the balls of my feet. These are a great shoe for folks who have foot pain and yet want to look feminine on the dance floor. One might need to add extra cushion in the insole area, but it's doable. The 9.5 size is a bit tight when they are new for me; however, they will stretch. And already have after wearing them for a couple of hours. These are really a great shoe if you want to be on the dance floor for an extended amount of time!

Wow, it’s really true that these run painfully small. I do have wide feet so when I exchange I will try a whole size larger than my regular size.
