Kubelik's Schumann 1 & 4

In other hands, these symphonies have had either more classical snap or sense of the epic, but this warm, energetic and musical performance is lovely in its own way. The Berliners play wonderfully and the sound is quite fine. Better value than the other two releases in this series.

Power, Dynamic and a very good interpretation.

High Quality Transfer

This is an excellent transfer of the Schumann music. Why they put symphony no. 4 on the CD ahead of #1 I'll never know, but the quality of the sound is excellent.
