Great shoe!! Wore it for a few shoes (the best of which was newsies) so far and dance classes and these hold up great! Very happy with these! (i went for my exact size if not the slightest bit sized up)

Out of 12 pair of shoes , 2 broke the snap off the buckle. The buckles can be replaced and I had no problem getting replacements. Otherwise, they are great shoes and very comfortable.

So far so good!

I've only used them once and they felt great dancing in them. Just know the straps don't have holes in which the buckle adjusts to. Instead the straps have snap ons and in order to adjust the tightness of the strap around your ankle, you must pull the strap through a buckle. Sorry if it sounds confusing but the point is that the straps aren't your average straps. Hopefully they don't snap off in future practices or on stage!
