Appendix stuffy to the rescue!

My young daughter needed to have her appendix out, and we knew noone else who ever had that done. She had alot of questions, why her? Why did her appendix get sick? I found I Heart Guts and thought it was cute so I ordered her a "new" appendix. She LOVED it, especially the book it comes with that is educational with a great sense of humor. It helped her so much that she raised money and donated appendix stuffies to her surgeon to give to other kids that need their appendix out. I Heart Guts was supportive to her when they heard what she was doing, which is just another way they are amazing!

Great for Lightening the Mood

This is the second time we've surprised a loved one with their organ back, plush style. Having an emergency procedure can really dampen the mood and make life hard. Both times now this has brought much laughter and joy to the patient. This unexpected gift really lightens the mood and helps to see this emergency as another adventure in life to laugh about but never forget! Thanks for this idea and for helping people laugh!
