It went very well, the installer at Best Buy said it took a little longer than a domestic car. "domestic cars have tolerances in feet, German cars have tolerances in inches". Also he connected the power to a switched source so when the car if off the power to the camera is off, also he felt that the fuse in the instructions is an important fuse to the cars operation and he didn't want to cause a bigger problem if the camera malfunctioned. The service tech who updated the software commented that that was a good idea. He used to work for VW. Buy the way the dealer wanted to charge me 220.00 for the upgrade, he charged 100.00. I would recommend that everyone gets these things installed a a car if it doesn't already have one. People just walk behind cars with their ear buds and don't pay attention. Thanks Matthew Kurzeja

Haven't had time to install it yet, but it looks OK. For $300 you would think the wiring harness would have a tag on it describing what circuit each wire color was to be hooked up to.
