Chai Love

This is how I start every day: a big, hot mug of Chai Love with local organic, raw honey and a nice splash of half and half to top it off. I settle in on the couch with my doggo companion Kita at my feet, grab the latest book I am reading, and slowly sip that great, spicy chai as I turn the pages. Then Kita and I go for a long walk in the woods where we live, and see what changed overnight since we were last there. Bears, deer, foxes, herons, raccoons, snakes, and all the other forest critters always leave some evidence of their passing. That warm chai stays with me until we return home and get on with the rest of the day. On a really hot and humid Virginia summer day, I'll have some sitting in the fridge and drink it nice and cold when I get back to the cabin from working on the house I am building nearby. On cold winter mornings, hot chai is the perfect way to prime my body for a day outside. Best chai ever. Great recipe, and the proportions of spices are perfect.

The best loose leaf tea I've found!

The Chai Love (and the Earl Grey De La Crème) are my husband and I's favorites. They're both very smooth and much better than pre-bagged tea.
