K104187 Solaric Face Plate

!5 years after the original install

Mid-March I had decided to repair my Solaric Faucet that had been installed approximately 15 years ago. Faceplate was rotting out due to some corrosion, valves were leaking, faucet handle on Hot side had stripped due to the hot side locking up, again corrosion, and the faucet was leaking at the O-Ring. Ordered K104187 Solaric Face Plate, K0672CP Valve Handles with Screws, Chrome and K0076 M76 Tune-up Kit so I could complete my repairs. Got the equipment but it turned out the Cold water valve was one of the older solid units not the 2-part that is sold today. Ordered the K1079 Cold Water Valve Assembly to finish the project. All done but I still had a problem with the faucet leaking at the o-ring. Contacted the 800 number and the lady sent me the dimensions of the O-ring I would need to acquire as Dishmaster did not stock that part. Not a problem so got some and all is well. Both techs that I dealt with were more than helpful and being a former at&t technician I know what that can mean to a customer. Customers were my bread and butter. so as to display what is actually in stock Fortunately, my customer was happy enough with bronze on chrome surround. WHEW!. Personally, your kitchen faucets are of a VERY superior design, and I've been inside of THOUSANDS to learn what's good and what isn't. Keep up the great work.
