I had been considering this journal since first seeing it about two months ago, I took the plunge. I'm not disappointed in my choice to do so. The stamp design is clean and clear, the craftsmanship and materials appear to be in very good order and well thought through. The leather is tough, not soft and supple, which I assume is necessary for the stamping process and I am sure will soften with use. I am also pleased that journal accessories are available for future purchase as the tie and pen loop will will naturally wear and weaken with much use. Well done Oberon Design. Question: Should the leather be cleaned and conditioned periodically?

Tree of Life Journal

I ordered the small Tree of Life Journal in Saddle as a gift for a friend. It arrived quickly, safely and well packaged. This friend loves trees . This was her introduction to Oberon and she loved it ! I have been gifted a large journal, business card holder and small notebook over the years and they all look beautiful and have become a little bit softer over time. It’s beautiful & functional

Disappointed

It feels like plastic and does not look as though it is refillable but bound. I gave this as a keepsake for my children to share their lives with their children and paid almost a hundred dollars and I expected a fine grade of leather and refillable pages as advertised, and it looked so nice in the picture.
