Soy Paste with Glutinous Rice Grains (Single-Origin)

Great substitute for oyster sauce.

This is my husband's favorite vegetarian substitute for oyster sauce. I really enjoy experimenting with the soy paste in Chinese and Japanese dishes.

So addicting! Great for throwing on top of blanched vegetables or tofu for a quick dinner. It's very fragrant, and I love how simple the ingredients are. I've had soy paste before but not with the glutinous rice grains; the rice grains certainly add an extra umami kick to the sauce-- so good & Taiwanese mom approved.

Absolutely delicious! Just putting some of this in your fried rice makes it taste heavenly. Can't wait to do more with this sauce !
