No smell, it doesn’t change the texture or the consistence of the base. It has preserved well my lipgloss. Hasn’t caused any irritations to sensitive skin. Package arrived in great conditions

TKB never lets me down
One small bottle lasts forever. Just 2 drops per 0.5fl oz and all my eyeshadows are preserved. I press a lot of eyeshadows and still haven't come close to using even a quarter of a bottle.
