I love the look of these pencils. The quality is great. However, I would use this for drawing, rather than writing. These pencils are top notch.

Love these pencils!

I've waited all my life for these dark graphite pencils, and use them everyday. I can read what I wrote and writing with soft graphite is a pleasure. I prefer the old white eraser, just so I can see where it's dirty, but the black one works just as well to erase. Don't ever stop making these pencils! I also send them to my sister in London, who won't write with anything else either.

Actually, I buy them for my grandchildren at the beginning of every school year. This year I was not at home when school started, and they said to their mother, "I wish Grandma was here so we would have those pencils". That same day the pencils arrived at their house. Of course Grandma didn't forget! And, yes. I like them, too, especially for Sudoku.
