Love this pattern!
I agree with other reviewers that it isn't really "easy" but oh my, it is fun to put together!! I love the concealed hooks in front, the fully-lined jacket, the authentic styling, the easy to understand illustrations! I would like to have seen instructions included for tying on the petticoat, for those not familiar with 18th century dressing, and I would suggest cutting the back and sleeve pieces larger if planning to wear over a shift. (I let those seams out a little, after the fact, but it's still tight...will cut seams wider in the next one I make.) In my photos, Felicity is wearing the jacket (version with a collar) over shift and bum roll.

Not so easy Hoodie and Skirt
I love the historical details of Thimbles and Acorns! But I agree with Diane M., this NOT an easy pattern. Even the simple skirt left me a bit puzzled. Were we supposed to tie it at the sides (too loose!) or surround the front and back? The jacket was challenging because it's features are so different from what we ordinarily expect. I would particularly have liked more direction, dots and notches on the sleeve cap. I didn't attempt the hook and eye tape closure. There were no directions for the eyelets. I ended up just using ribbon ties to close the front. Nevertheless, my doll "Susie" likes the outfit and looks real cute in it.
