Jacquard Acid Dyes, 1/2 oz Powder Fabric Dye

Excellent dye experience!

This is the first time I’ve dyed with Jacquard dyes and I used the slow cooker method. After researching several sources, I plunged in and dyed up some wool yarn with green dye and I truly love the finished product! The dye was easy to use and the results were stunning-nicely saturated color with some areas free of dye. I really was just experimenting to see what I would get and was pleasantly surprised.

Achieved excellent result!

I ordered 3 different blues so that I could decide which one best matched the blue I was trying to achieve. I ended using 2 of the 3 to dye two merino wool dresses. Both came out lovely. I found that Sapphire Blue was closest to the blue I wanted and used it on a light gray dress. However, even using the Royal Blue on a charcoal gray dress produced a lovely dark blue (but definitely not navy). I followed the instructions I found on line and then washed each dress after I completed the process. As to how long the dye will last, it is too early to say.
