I’ve been using this beauty of a vice daily for about 6 months now and I’m very happy with it. The build quality and machining is excellent. It works very smoothly even when covered in dust and clamps to a good pressure. I found having cork on both clamping surfaces helped holding curved components. It’s easy to adjust the piece you’re working on to almost any angle. I bought it for a big project involving lots of bent components that needed shaping. It’s definitely made the job easier and saved time as well as my back (I’d done some prototyping without I’d and found myself spokeshaving in some very awkward positions) I have it mounted as a kind of auxiliary vice extended out from the workbench, which works brilliantly for flipping and turning long curved pieces without interference from the bench top. Definitely worth the investment.

A jewel of a tool

Beautiful, functional tool art. As an independent professional woodworker I have a lot of vices. Already this is my favorite. Hold any piece at any angle comfortably. I have it mounted on a slightly taller bench for sawing and shaping.

Very versatile vice

I have been using this vice for around 1 year now. It can clamp virtually anything at many positions. The rebate on the short edge allows me to clamp small pieces and prevents them from falling when I release the vice. I recommend you to get two rubber/cork liners for a better grip. I great upgrade from a common woodworker's vice!
