Muhle R89 Safety Razor Closed Comb

Amazing performance

I have been using various brushes and shaving soaps for many years with a multi blade cartridge razor. Yesterday was my first experience with a double edged safety razor and Proraso products. I am amazed at how much better these products perform. I chose the Muhle R89 and the 65 blade variety pack. These items arrived late yesterday afternoon and I was anxious to try them. Knowing they were expected I didn't shave yesterday until they arrived, so I had a day and half growth. I used an Astra blade and was immediately impressed with the improved control, smoothness and quality of cut. This morning I didn't have much stubble, but again had a great shave. Highly recommended and like so many other things in life, I wish I had discovered this years sooner. Thanks GeoFatBoy!
