Caran d'Ache 849 Ballpoint Pen Metal White

Great color!

I have several 849 ballpoints now, all from Altman Luggage. This white pen does not disappoint. The barrel is made of aluminum with either a paint, powder coated, or lacquer finish. The name is printed on the barrel under the clip and also engraved on the push button. The pen is fairly short. Some say too short but it is a good length for shirt pockets. It can be clipped fully without bottoming out. The combination of the aluminum barrel and "Goliath" ink refill gives the pen a good weight, not heavy, but not too light either. The chrome clip is well made and good looking. The pen with its hexagonal shape reminds me of my favorite drafting pencil, the Pentel P207. Great design, durable, affordable, and fun to use. I enjoy all the Caran d'ache 849 colors and recommend this pen!
