Due to very high gopher activity in our garden, we had to build a gopher proof surface to lay down our new backyard deck and planters. I bought two roles of this hardware cloth to lay down under the new wooden deck & our 10 big planters as recommended by some folks from the Richmond Garden Club. I am very happy with the quality and I hope it will last a long time (some folks have said it could last for more than 20 years if well set up to avoid rusting). I received the two big roles in a few days with great tracking info & fast customer service follow up (one role had been delayed one day due to a labeling issue).

Gophers have tunneled right up to my raised beds, but they can’t get in! Last year we used the 5 foot wide gopher wire to line our 4 ft wide beds, and have had nothing munched or destroyed since then. Gophers have taken shallots from our unprotected bed, but nothing from the gopher-wired ones 😀. We bought this 100 ft roll to protect our upcoming new beds. Great stuff!
