A bit less compression in the belly than I was expecting, but definitely still snatches the waist in. The choice of a bra back-type fastener for the crotch is definitely weird and I wish it were snaps. It does fit well with a nursing bra, which is why I went for this particular item. Overall, it does what it says, but there’s some things that could be improved
