Blackwing 602 (Set of 12)

First time user - I love these pencils

I love these pencils! I like the smooth and dark lines quite a lot. The eraser is long and therefore long lasting. Although this might remove a historical component of the 602 I'd much prefer one of those smudge-free polymer erasers. You've seen the type - those white erasers - often paired with mechanical pencils. Perhaps add a smudge-free polymer eraser and rename the product to Blacking 602+. Just a thought. Thanks for bringing this product back to life.

Prefer Matte to 602

I had been using and loving soft, smooth, dark Blackwing pencils. I knew the company made other, harder pencils too, but I thought those went by different names, not Blackwing. When I ordered a set of twelve Blackwing 602s, I thought I was getting more of the kind I'd been using. However, when they arrived, they looked different, and an insert indicated that there were different grades of pencils, all called Blackwing, and the 602s were harder and less intense than the ones I'd been using. I learned that my favorites were called Matte. 602s are also nice pencils, but they're not the ones I wanted and find so desirable.

First time shopper

I have absolutely loved my black wing pencils plus the accessories. Honestly one of the best pencils I’ve used. Literally use it everyday. I have gotten many compliments as well as gifted 3 to co workers who said they enjoyed using mine.
