It does a fine job cleaning our hummingbird feeder. During our extreme, long lasting freezing temperatures we were concerned our water would freeze. In particular, the water containers for the chickens, ducks and goats were vulnerable. So we decided to fill water storage containers and keep them inside our house. The containers had been outside, dirt had settled inside. I spent Christmas morning with my bird feeder cleaning brush scrubbing deep down inside the containers, filling them with water and storing them by the wood stove. The duck pond froze but all our animals were fine
