Sourdough Starter Culture: San Francisco Style

It has been over a week and I have had ZERO success. I reached out to customer service, they gave me advice, I followed the advice and nothing has happened. I don’t understand if I am following their directions they gave me and it’s not working, they answered it in a way that I should’ve known to change, but how do I need to change it when I’m following the directions that came with? We have had no rise, no activity, or anything it has been sitting on the counter and in the oven with the door propped (per their directions) and zero success. So far this has been a waste of money and a waste of flour.

Excellent product! Easy to use and works every time. Makes the best starter for all types of breads. Has to be easy. Im a newby to sourdough!
