Good germination, easy to use, good for those that can’t compost soil based growing mediums

I tried this as an experiment while showing a group of friends about growing micro greens during the winter. I think I prefer soil based growing mediums that I can compost after growing my greens. These light growing medium is go for the compost and helps lighten my heavy clay garden soil. Those in apartments liked the fiber matts that they could just dispose of in the garbage.

Good so far!

I am new at microgreens so just getting used to growing them and growing g them in a mat. But so far so good. The excellent thing is no mess from soil!
