Gesshin 400 Ceramic Stone

another great stone

very nice stone, is abrasive enough but in a refined way. Helps a lot when u have to make the edge again. has a nice tactile feedback. I think i should get a 1000 or 2000 grit gesshin stone cause in my set i have this one, then a King deluxe 1000 grit (dont love it), and a gesshin 6000. So i guess gesshin has proven to build really nice stones to keep in good shape your knives.

Follow up to 220 repair stone.

Great stone to follow up a 220, when doing repair work, especially on a single bevel. Nice clean even scratch pattern. Very tactile feel, I like it.

Good stone

Very good feel, has served me well so far. I use it as a starting point to thin above/behind (terminology is different depending on who you’re talking to) the bevel. Also briefly as flattening stone for higher grits but that is not entirely its intended purpose. Cuts nicely and feels great after a quick soak. Absolutely recommend.
