Not the same as when I first bought it

I don’t know what happened to the product , but the ear plugs have this strange smell which stays on your fingers. And the quality is not the same , feels rough inside the ears I bought it long time again and that one never used to have this weird smell which stays in finger and they were actually soft . Not sure if they gave me the wrong product or what . Just disappointed
