I had an old surefire scout light that had began to dim and "strobe". I've changed batteries (surefire brand) changed tail caps (surefire brand) and none of those trouble shooting measures worked. I contacted surefire customer service through their contact page and never received an answer. A replacement head was well over $200. I purchased a Malkoff E2T/Scout M600 2CR123 Head and couldn't be happier. Excellent price, quality and customer service. Additionally, it has a less weight and mass giving my rifle a more streamlined aesthetic I prefer.
