MDC 2AA Flashlight

These days, I'm big on AA batteries for flashlights. I took a chance with the 2AA, already owning several MDC 1AA for years. The 2AA is like a 1AA on steroids. I bought this light for a little more light on night walks. It did that perfectly. The Neutral White (4000K) 95 CRI Luminous SST-20 has a great natural tint for this purpose. I view this light as more of an outdoor model. For those on the fence about which one to buy, I would still start with the MDC 1AA if it's primary use is indoors, vehicles or camping. If the 1AA leaves you wanting more, the 2AA may interest you. All of the lights are quality, you can't go wrong. Note: I use Energizer Lithium batteries.

The spacing of levels is perfect on this flashlight. I keep one on my night stand, next to my bed, and the low level is perfect for middle of the night tacks. As always, Malkoff leads the way!

Another great Malkoff product! The build quality is consistently great. The light is brighter than any AA that I have tried and used. There was no shopping and comparing. I chose this light as AA batteries (alkaline and lithium) are generally available anywhere. It only makes sense to have one as a backup!
