The leather is soft and overall it is beautiful, but there are two marks on the inside that look like leather tanner stains? I'm worried about how well it will hold up because of how soft it is, but I would choose this padfolio with soft leather over any of the other cheaper padfolios with fake leather. I got this for a left handed person because the pad can be swapped to be on the left. Great idea!
