RDNW09 - High Waisted Wide Leg Denim Jean

Unfortunately these are completely the wrong size. I'm normally a 30-32 and these were 30/31 and would not come above my upper thighs. They looked like they were made for a tiny child. I loved the quality of these jeans and shape, and wished they weren't so comically off on sizing.

This is so rare in my shopping experience that I wasn't prepared for the jeans to fit as measured (side-eyes Madewell) that I figured I could select my true size and it would have some loose areas - nope! Excellent quality, but returning because I'm old and not ready to commit to the wide silhouette yet (I'm sure I'll be back here in a few months).

LOVE the fit, but the dye color is waay lighter in person

I usually wear a 27 or 28 but sized up to a 29 (w/27 innseam) after reading reviews and they fit PERFECTLY. Love the super high waist and the cut on the hips and leg is really nice. Got them in the dark wash and was surprised by how light they are in person-- much more of an 80's sort of medium-light wash than the nice dark wash shown in the pictures. Exchanging them for the non-denim version in another color since I so loved the fit, but the color just felt very mom jean-ish, which isn't my look.
