Terrible! Just strong menthol

These were awful; I couldn’t eat them. I can’t detect any licorice flavor, just a strong menthol cough drop flavor. Perhaps this is a special type of Italian licorice that only tastes like menthol? They’re terrible. I emailed the company and got no response. I would give them zero stars, but that’s not an option. Disappointed!
