WCS 3" Strop, leather & linen

Well, I just started using a straight razor so don't have much to compare it to. It took a few times of using it to finally get the movement down of stropping my razor (YouTube is great for the "how to" part). This strop does an excellent job. I use the linen side to cleanup the edge around six to seven laps and then I grab the leather side for around 40 laps. My razor cuts just great plus I use preshave oil too so my blade slides very easily across my face. The strop does what it is designed to do and I like the chrome rings and clip. I always put it away in a drawer when I'm done so it doesn't get any soap or toothpaste on it.

This strop was recommended by an artisan STR8 razor maker as a good first strop as I’m just starting my journey of shaving with a SRT8. Seems like it’s a good quality piece. I’m glad I got it.
