My new shaving bowl from WCS is beautiful, good weight (not too heavy not too light) and whips up a very nice lather. I am quite pleased

Reconsideration after weeks of use.

My initial review of this bowl gave it 4 stars. My concern was its grip-ability given my hand size, which is pretty average. After several weeks of daily experience with no mishaps or even coming close to one, I withdraw that criticism. With repeated use, I've come to appreciate an initially over looked subtlety in its design. The rim provides an overhanging lip inside the bowl which helps keep lather inside along the gently curved sides. The raised bumps on the bottom perform terrifically, especially with a high-quality soap like that produced by Declaration Grooming. I'm achieving superior results with all the lather I need for three passes with 30 seconds of mixing and whipping in this bowl. My apologies for under-rating this product. At this price, you can't go wrong! It's certainly worth you giving it a try.
